Howdy All, I think the switch is going bad on one of my Garrett pinpointers. Should I get a new switch from Garrett or .......? Thanks Steve

Is it still under warranty? My carrot switch went bad last summer after about 6 months of use and had it repaired for free. My aged black pro-pointer switch went bad after 3 years of use. Sent it in for repair. They charged me $42 which covered a new switch, new coil, new switch cover and they put it all in a new housing. Came back working and looking like a new pin pointer.
