No but I thought about it... I was at Home Depot and "kinda" looked for one but I wasn't 100% sure where to look... I think I saw that some people use a retractable keychain that clips to your belt but what about the ring?

There are a few people on Ebay that sell them. I have one saved but I wanted more info on them before I buy.

I hate things being hooked to me. I would prefer to use the mounts for detector shaft or just slide it into a pocket.
I prefer carpenter shorts as they have deep pockets...

How many of you have the stainless steel ring in the end for a clip of some sort? Been thinking about buying one, I hate the idea of it dropping out of the holster or leaving it on the ground and walking away.

I have the MineLab (same thing). I use the stock holder for it and feel comfortable with it, enough so where I let my 11yr old be in charge of all pointing duties including carrying it on her belt. I did once walk away without it and nearly SH*% when I got to my next hole and it wasnt there, luckily for me I traced my steps and found it right away, you can imagine fear of not finding a $150+ tool.

Since, Ive found a place in here, someone here was showing off their new gear so I decided to look into it. This is top notch equipment, hand sewn and made in the USA, I ordered all of it to make my digging experience much easier, take a look at the link.

Here is another reason I want this ring for the Pro Pointer, my pack is nicely made for it! It has a D-ring on top for a harness. ;)

I have one on my Garrett pinpointer. It works great for me.
I bought a coiled key chain cord and attached it to my belt.
Sometimes I felt the cord was too short. I presently have it attached to the rear of my AT-Pro shaft. It helps balance it out with the bigger coil attached.

By the way LifeNRA. that battle belt pack you have is awesome! How much did that cost to put together?

Thanks! There are cheaper versions of the equipment I bought. But then you get what you pay for! I have about $100 tied into the pack itself. This is a load bearing belt so what you put into it does NOT feel heavy. Which is the beauty of this system. It sits above the waist line with a nice padded outside belt. The inside belt does not come with the battle belt. This all has the MOLLE system which allows you to customize the pack the way you want it. Probably weighs about 10-15 pounds loaded. But that does not bother me. I walk long distances with a pack when hunting, this is actually lighter than my hunting pack. Everything was bought on Ebay. Just look for Condor items.

Battle belt - $20
Inside belt- $16
Side packs x2 - $34
Backside pack - $28
Ring for Pointer - $16 (shipped from the UK, $10 for item, $6 shipping)
lanyard for ring - $10
TOTAL - $124

I bought a ring for my Pro Pointer, ill report back once I get it and use it.

It sure looks sweet.
Yea, that's Evan from Big Boys Hobbies in the video.
Him and Bart are great guys and hooked me up with some killer deals on metal detecting equipment.
Thanks for the info on the battle belt.
