I am wondering if it is permitted to water hunt the Gasparilla Island (town of Boca Grande), Englwood beach in SW Florida near Port Charlotte and are there any other places I should look into while I am there?

I will be taking a vacation there next spring, most likley right after spring break.
I will be using a Tesoro Eldorado (For Land hunts) and a Tesoro Sand Shark (For Saltwater hunts).

Is there any other place I could hunt on land too?

:D To get to Stump Pass, use a Kayak or a bicycle if they are handy. Try Manasota Key, Venice and Nokomis Beaches too. Close to shore is really shelly, touch digging and recovering and floating sifting box is recommended if water is not too rough. I got a $2000 diamond ring out of Englewood about 5 years ago, it paid for my Johnson 48 hp outboard. ;D
