Went to a new field spot but the grass was still a bit to long to get a good hunt in. Managed to pull out a George ii coin, two flat buttons and a round ball. The other side of the coin is not great but hoping I'll get a date off it! :)

Gotta be more. Most you can say without a little more cleaning is 1740-1754.

I think the date may be gone. Pretty much blank disc on the reverse. Still is my first George ii that I know about. Got many blank mystery coppers in the past. I am going back there when the grass goes down some for sure! :)

You're choices of hunting spots are pretty good; you are getting the results we all hope for every time we go out.
The better finds are out there and I'm sure you are getting close

Nice copper! Hope you get some more when the grass dies down. HH!

I'm always scouting out new spots. Can't be afraid to knock on some doors though. Glad a lot of these spots are close to home. I have a lot of hunting to do this coming spring before all the grass and bushes come back! Haha
