I will post a picture tonight do not have the set up on this PC. I found a 1773 GEORGIVS 111 REX coin. All I come up with is counterfeit, what does this mean ? I need a someone who knows old British coins. I'm in the process of cleaning the second coin that was found a few feet away from the first one. But preliminary inspection shows this one the gentleman on the face is facing to the left un like the first coin who is facing right. Just putting out feelers for now will post picture this evening.

It's not uncommon to dig genuine or counterfeit George III coppers as there was a lot of both in circulation. The left facing bust is probably a George II.
