Total from last couple days. Most of the hunting was on post, playgrounds were refilled with clad. Did get an opportunity to MD at the US Girl Scout site again, they are closing it this year. I will try to go there again.
Noteables: Square shaped german coin, can make out 1799
A cut coin with Carldor and a figure on it...ANY ideas???
A piece of a German soldiers ID tag.
Coins on white plate are form the GS site, Spanish, Austrian and UNKNOWN
coin, has 25 on it.

Nice finds. It looks like you can start your own matchbox car collection. You may have some rare old coins and should check them out.

Awesome finds! The square coin with the pinecone is from Augsburg. The square coin with CarlDor on it looks like a coin weight, what is on the reverse? If it is a coin weight, it is French as a Dor is a French gold coin, then Carl would have been the King at the time, could be 1600-1700s. If I get a chance I will have a look at the French Kings. Nice and HH, Mike

Bavaria Mike:
Thanks for the info, I will get a pic of the reverse side. The coin/weight is thick and has cut marks. I had no luck looking up the coin title.
Thanks again
Rich

Nice collection you've got there. That's the first square coin I've seen. Wat to go!

Probably a coin weight then with the cut marks, I have a few with those marks and I know what you mean! No Kings from France by the name of Carl, there is a Carl Dor from Germany I found, something like 1735-1780. Where did you find the coin weight, what is the environment? It might be the start of an awesome area to hunt. HH, Mike
