Don't get me wrong, it can only be fun, a day like this:

2016 (586).jpg

I mean.....ya know? :dontknow: So, I gotta be happy, right?
I've been around long enough to know it could be worse. ;)

2016 (587).jpg
Talk about your "out-of-place" find! :icon_scratch:

2016 (588).jpg
I don't know my ammo, but maybe this is older than me? :dontknow:

2016 (589).jpg

This tiny piece reminds me of the top of a flintlock hammer.
The part you pull back to cock it?
It's a strange metal. Only very minor attraction to a magnet. :dontknow:

2016 (590).jpg
A ringy for Fishy

2016 (591).jpg

And a new shiny-shiny for Blingie.

So, all in all, a pretty darn nice "walk"!
Yet...........well.......you know.

Thanks for peeking!

Looks like a super walk Whadi. :notworthy: Man you cleaned up on the clad and other finds. Days like that are way better than a walk where you only pull about 10 good targets.

Thanks!

But, ask yourself, if you had a choice between finding all that and one silver dollar for the whole day.
What would you choose? :icon_scratch:

As far as having a large clad day, you could do the same. Just have to locate a decent, local, clad factory. I've lined up several of them. :dontknow: (and stay longer than a half an hour. ;) )

About that remembering, is there another sort of remembering than "mentally"? :icon_scratch: ;)

LOL yes I sort of seem to avoid places that are continually being replenished .
and an hour of digging clad Lincolns would drive me batty :laughing7:
But still awhile since I've done it.
The fair grounds would do it, But my Body won't for the time needed :tongue3:

If I break a Dollar in clad , I be happy these days

It depends on how old you are, the .308 Winchester was introduced to civilian population about 1952. The military had started working on it a few years before that. It is a .30-06 case merely shortened somewhat. The 308 designation refers to bullet diameter. The .30-06 (the parent case) uses same diam. bullets as do most other.30 caliber cartridges. Nice outing you had btw.

Oh my yeah! I haven't even gotten to my first billion years yet! ;)
But, somehow, that don't seem to help much, when one is out there digging, ya know? :dontknow:

It's just that when one is constantly digging only new stuff. Even in places that should be holding a few old items.
It gets a little, well, annoying.

I know, as well as anyone, that it's just a matter of time. If one keeps finding, they will eventually find something old. I'm just getting a little bored with the clad streak. So, now, maybe that will end AND....I'll start getting skunked instead. :dontknow:

Nice collection of clad and items! Congrats!

That is quite a shinny boy scout trinket, Blingie must be very happy!
Fishy is going to get dizzy checking out his new treasure!

Wanting a larger age gap in the coinage, are we?
They're out there, waiting where they've been for many years. Just think how tired the coins are of waiting to be found.
If you were a coin, you'd be silver! :sly:
And in some places if you found yourself, you'd have to put yourself back! :D;)

Glad you got out for a profitable long walk.
I may sneak out for a bit Sat. And see what i can scare out of the ground.:sly:
