As far as like a 7-11, I wouldn't hold much hope. It would be a hassle to the owner to get them too. They don't so much have rolls and such, and if they do, its probably because they need them and will use them with their customers.
Grocery stores however COULD be a place to pick things up. Some stores have banks in them, and if they don't you can still try the customer service, etc. section of the store and ask for rolled coin. They probably use more than they get though... but still worth a try.
I generally spend my rolled halves at Grocery stores and gas stations to get them out there and get rid of them.
my theory is two fold.
1. It gets them out or into circulation, either is good. If they end up being horded, great, it means less to dig though. People seem to think they are "rare" and hold them.
2. People and businesses who know they are not rare will deposit them. it may just take a few halves to fill a bag loaded with a collection that gets rerolled and maybe back too you!
