Getting ready to hit an old cellar hole

Just stopped by a friend's house and talked him into hitting an old cellar hole with me. Wish us luck.

It kind of sucks though because I live in New Hampshire, but I'm not from here, so I don't know where any cellar holes are. Thankfully, I have a friend who does. That's why I'm trying to get him hooked on metal detecting. I even gave him my old Garrett GTA 1000.

Would be cool if they had people on here from my area (Laconia).

Anyway, we're gearing up now. I'll post any good finds, should we find something good. Peace.

Yeah this one was nice, had a big field behind it that wasn't quite grown up yet. The only thing was the black flies. Both me and my friend had forgotten the bug spray so about thirty minutes was all we could handle.

We moved to a park and hit that for a while. Lots of clad, but nothing real old. I made a mental note of where that cellar hole is so we can hit it at a later date, armed with many cans of bug spray, lol.

For the record, black flies are a lot like the swarms of gnats í had to endure when I lived down south, only bigger. And they bite.
