My post is of my finds from last week but life and work come first so apologies. I’ve seen a couple posts about the warm up and people getting out in the Great White North unexpectedly and I’m happy to say I was one of them. After a ton of rain and a warm up last week, I was able to get out on January 5th. I’ve never been out in January like that and I was rewarded for it as my former school park continues to give up some silver.

Take the opportunity when you can and HH.

Nice! Congrats on the silver. I went out today for a couple hours and got a whopping 4¢... It was like 65-70 degrees in Ashtabula County earlier.

Thanks Noah,

You win some, you lose some and I’ve definitely been on the $0.04 side of that coin.

Wish I could have got out this weekend (it’s warm) but with 75mm (2.95”) of rain, what’s the point. Hey, you wouldn’t know anything about the crazy amount of rain, would you Noah? [emoji1]

Thanks... and yep it rained here too. Pretty much all day saturday, which makes digging clean plugs in yards awful hard. I found a few hours where the rain stopped although I wanted to get out bad enough that I was just about ready to march out there and start digging in the rain. I tried to get permission for some fields with history but got shut down... I went to a local church I already hunted and someones front yard, I think I did ok though on the cleanup but that definitely took up a lot of time.
