thanks for looking, still have a bunch that needs cleaned up. the 1930's stevens hero cap gun was found last week. I have walked by the cherry tree it was under a 1000 times deer hunting. this time I put the metal detector by the tree. lol. ive hunted by that tree for 21 years! and its just been sitting there waiting for me. lol.

I have friends who own old hospital farms. I grew up a stones throw away from round top (Gettysburg battle field). I live stones throw from the Cashtown Inn now. our house was built in 1860. the confederate file knife was in my back yard. I figured with General Lee and 20,000 soldiers around my house, they had to leave me something. my wife and 2 sons go with me every chance they get.

I found it across from my house last week with another cap gun that was broken. it comes up as a (stevens hero 1930's). ive deer hunted by the large cherry tree it was under for the last 21 years. lol, something told me to put the detector to that area. I also found handfuls of old square nails...(tree house or fort)? I want to go back to the area. Its only 300 yards from my house. I would love to find some old toys or lead army men. I have the pistol in the electrolysis bucket now. it's bubbling away in some super brown water. lol
