DIGGIN' IN NEVADA
these are most of the keepers we picked up on our ghost town trip this month...the ground was so trashy that it made detecting all but impossible, but lots of good finds. a few odd brass..(look close and you will see two .50 cal bullets) lots of silverware, 3 marbles, lots of porcilin....a hand full of buttons, square nails, old bottle necks....these are all over the place.... a couple of old corks, a pair of eye glasses, a hermonica reed, a mastache comb? lots of old stuff....we were out for 7 days total, and went to 7 or 8 differant ghost towns, some in better shape then others........
looking at making another trip in april, plan on taking a shaker box with me this time.
well hope you enjoy the pics, as much as i enjoyed the trip.
happy hunting

I can understand completely about the trash and detector problems. Love the old marbles and the other goodies as well. Look for the trash pits and bottle dumps and take your time. Working some of those old pits can pay off very well. Good luck and HH!
