Needed to do a tad digging, jumped on the ATV went down to other end of the property to have a look.

5 minutes of scratching in the mud, up popped up a little keeper.
Nothing too exciting just an easy.

Nice find pepperj! I found one dated 1890 something last summer while creekwalking with friends... I was thrilled but they weren't impressed in the slightest lol.

I went bargain hunting again today, and found some more goodies.

The 1821 8 reale is fake. Laughably fake. I think this thing is hilariously bad, and for $2, I had to have it. It's just that bad. The penny is a really off center strike, and I liked the toning on the Kennedy half.

The real find of the day without a doubt was this WWII German officers breast eagle. It's being authenticated on another forum, but I have a good feeling this is the real deal. If it is, I might go back for the other things I saw there. It's just so rare to find WWII stuff in antique shops around here, let alone German WWII stuff.

It's funny what we find doesn't do squat for some others. :dontknow:

Or one gets "What's it worth?":laughing7:

Oooh! I’d be stoked!

Well I kind of down played it because I did say "Cool" out loud.

When we had the big collection together the family use to put Xmas bulbs under them along the window sill, lit them up at night. Pretty cool look at all the different colours and sizes.

I am going to light up my yard around the shed using insulators. I just have to figure out the details. I had the opportunity to buy 25 or so of the wooden dowels they attach to. At the time, there was no plan for shed or lighting so I turned it down. Now I am kicking myself.

Now I don’t know my coins very well, but even to me that doesn’t look right. The penny is pretty wild.

My son has been telling me about this laundromat where he lives. Says they got all kinds of stuff and I would love it. Finally got there tonight and he was right. I love it! Not what you would expect to find in a laundromat.

Did your eye zoom in on what mine did? Is this for real?

I think that is a real stick with turkey feathers hanging down?

Did you see the rusty point/blade/ spearhead in the end of it? Or are you saying this is something fabricated to fool us white folks?
