How old are the bushes?
That's crazy tall, need to borrow my picking ladder soon.

I?ve got 5 that are somewhere around 22 years and 3 or 4 that are 12 or so. I put Aluminum Sulfate around them every year. If you do it just be sure to watch the portion because you?ll get more bush than berry. It?s basically a chemical you fertilize Azaleas with. We need a ladder now. The really nice one are always at the top.

Hey Guys here is some of my stuff I bought. The Jeep Sign I'm Guessing is about 1950's or 1960's Same With the BSA motorcycle sign. The display case was a gift. The bottles I dug up and I bought the insulator. Thanks for looking!

Nice scores, GB. I think I have a bottle just like the one at the bottom right corner. I have a display shelf thing like that. Somewhat. I will inherit another to match someday. When I look at it, I can't help but think of the dusting that will still have to be done. :BangHead:

My harvest so far this year. Well we have had more squash but we gave some away and have also cooked some. Compared to last year, we have fewer squash, but we are ahead 4 tomatoes, 2 bell peppers and 1 banana pepper. Go ahead and laugh. We are laughing too. [emoji23]

...I love stuffed peppers and fried crooknecks, sliced tomatoes don’t last long either...
You should try a of straw bale garden by your she shed, grow bird house gourds and those small decoration pumpkins.
You need a red wagon and 1 straw bale now, for next years garden..

I think the secret with using the bales is to water them down a couple of weeks before planting to start them cooking/heating up.

Very nice WD! Anything grown regardless if its just one thing or a whole lot is a winner in my books.

It's better than what we're producing so far, pepper plants are just lovely green plants, tomatoes are just starting.

...if you start the water and fertilizer now and wrap in plastic it will be breaking down enough to grow next spring. It takes awhile to start the composting process. Than in early spring use plastic like a tent and you can start seeds way earlier than you can in the ground...

I snapped a few pictures on my morning walk. The city planted a couple of batches on wild flowers and shrubs for beneficial insects in a nearby park. Some mallard ducks in a nearby bay area and a relandskaped area behind our local kayaking club. Then there's a few Canada geese the one on the right hissed at me like a cat....lol

Then a few pictures of the fur trade museum which was the main warehouse for furs and trade goods for the Hudson Bay Company back in the day.

My bride planted squash in the compost bin and every time she though to pick it it was too big. So I guess we need some relish anyway.
