Here are the two smallest points I have right now.
The one on the left of the dime is a Flint Ridge Chalcedony Snyders with a neat fossil inclusion on the left side, and the one of the right of the dime is a Flint Ridge Hopewell point. They were both found here in Western Kentucky at the same site / different days. This helps reinforce the theory that the Ohio River was a superhighway for commerce and trade. I am 2 hours (driving) away from the Ohio / Indiana Border.
HAY , I just got back home [Friday] started working my way down the post , read this one and I knew I had to run -out my little champ on this one . Unitas you had me there for a bit anyway .
I have found smaller, but broken. This little complete point made of a dark material that I've glued onto a assembled matate along with other artifacts I found along the Arkansas River upstream from Buena Vista, Colorado when I lived within hiking distance to the area that I searched back in 1984-85. I spent countless hours searching this area with a Blue Heeler named Lucky so long ago now.
