the friend(gloria) who gave them to me has a grandmother who is getting older and shes starting to take care of her finances.gloria notices grams paying for a storage unit.....little back story,gram is irish and married a japanese gentleman and they never had kids and just traveled and picked up pieces of art and what not all over.back to the storage unit now,gram dosen't even remember whats in it and shes been paying for it for just about 20 years.all sorts of crap and treasures,from a pair of elephant tusks(5 foot and dated 1720) to tupperware.........truely a tresurehunters dream

Isn't that called abalonie or abalone or something. That's the stuff they use to make pearl handles on knives and pistols and such. It's getting very scarce.
