Was just leaving the house this morning when the rain came. Went back in for another cup of coffee and read the Sunday paper. Short time later the rain stopped but I was debating with myself. Go or do the planned yard work. Glad I went.
24" and marked 14k. It was a great day. Yard work was completed also.

Well. The words from dirtlooter caused me to think about my valuable (ha ha) find. I just had it checked out and it's NOT gold. Glad I didn't quit my day job. I guess in reality I had some doubt but still wanted to believe it was the find of a lifetime. Oh well. I'm not dead so I still have time to find the "find of a lifetime". That's what it's all about.

It really is amazing how many of these chain bracelets and necklaces are found , marked 14k - and they are bogus - I think this
is a relatively new phenomenon - within the last 10 years or so .

That looks like its made by the same maker as a fake silver necklace a lady showed me the other day, too bad it wasn't real. Still bet it was a rush finding it tho !!
