I was wondering if any others use the Glock 81 field knife while detecting. I have been using one for several years now and the saw back has come in handy. For the price they are hard to beat.

Only if I wanted to get arrested... :laughing9: Seriously though, I think their entrenching tool would be useful!

I use a Sunfish Scuba knife .. has the serrated part to cut top soil, .. a big hook cutting thing that can be used to cut small roots or open your beer, and the reverse side is marked off in inches. cost, about 20 dollars ...

I think I paid $25 for it. The spine is .2 thick and is made in Austria. I have their entrenching tool to, but it lives a life of leisure riding in the back of the Jeep. My "D" handle Ames shovel hasn't let me down yet, so I haven't broke out the Glock.

Do u know if I might find the glock 81 field knife at an army surplus store? And what kind of pouch is that behind the knife
