Goin' on a cruise

Hi All,

The kids and I are doing a Carnival cruise during the week of Xmas. We have a day each in the Cayman Islands, Montego Bay and Cozumel. Has anyone hunted these places and do you know any good locations? I will be checking the sat images, but thought I'd ask around. Anyone have any other advice?

Sounds like you're going on the cruise we went on

We cruised out of New Orleans on the Conquest and went to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel in that order

I took my whites classic ID on to each island

At Montego Bay, we went to a beach where you pay an admission. Not advisable if you want to metal detect. While on the beach, I was metal detectin and a security guard came up to me and ask what I was doing. I told him I was looking for loose change, it was a hobby. He told me to put the thing away and I did like really quick

I detected public beaches on Grand Cayman and Cozumel without any prob

With a wife and 2 boys in tow, my detectin time was limited but I managed to find some coins, nothin to write home about
