Going to N. California

So i am going to Davis Creek in North California on August 24. i am really hoping to find some Obsidian, and i was wondering what else i can find. (Does anyone know if there is areas where you can find Indian artifacts.?)

Finding Indian artifacts can get you into a heap of trouble, I suggest becoming informed on the subject and find out what's legal before engaging in such activity.
