Gold and platnum reading??

Going to look for a ladies missing gold/platinum ring with rubies tomorrow, with a at pro was wondering what numbers I should be looking for so I can cancel out the iron ??

If you allow for less-than-perfect ID'ing it still shouldn't be much lower than a few numbers unless it is next to iron. Depending on trash level a small area you can go over it once at a higher level, say 40, and if needed drop down a few more points and recheck.

If it's larger it is going to read higher.
