Well, I can't tell you what the first coin is, but the second, I believe, is a Russian Ruble from the Soviet era.

I believe the bearded one is Dmitry Mendeleyev, a Russian chemist credited as being the primary creator of the first version of the periodic table of elements. This one ruble coin celebrates the 150th aniv. of his birth.
