Another beautiful 75 degree day in our record breaking ( this season ) 14 straight consecutive days of still & calm waters. I hit a small popular cove, which had some targets in the waist deep soft sand, but it had been hunted, however, they are reluctant to dig in closer to shore. There is 5 inches of sand near shore , but then your down to sand and fist size rocks. I have a lot of patience and a double handled, wide mouth Miller stainless steel scoop, Miller made good scoops before he retired, I still have my original. I hunt this area from time to time, as years ago it gave up a 9kt Boar War medal to me. It's hard digging in the rocks but some what rewarding. The gold is 10 kt, not in a modern setting and the other ring is sterling silver.

Congrats on a very productive hunt. That silver ring looks like it has pretty good weight to it.

it's 17.1 grams Willie, I was hoping when it came out of the scoop that it was white gold, I usually don`t know till I get home, as I can`t always see the markings unless they are in lg letters. regards terry
