I had to sideline for awhile, too much quarreling, brand defensiveness, and seeing certain people waging war on others. It got to be too silly for me after awhile..

Which of the two types really do work best on salt beaches? If you have tried them both I'd like to know.

And as to (air) depth on gold rings on the GBP/G2. I've seen some really lame vids on u-tube but that didn't impress me at all, so I'm checking here instead. Any info would be appreciated, opinions too. Thanks

If I were you I would check out the Tesoro Sand Shark. It is a Pulse Induction machine that goes very deep in dry or wet sand. Waterproof to 200 feet deep. Great detector.
