A friend of mine that I hunt with found this today. Any info on a date or what it could have been on would be appreciated very much! The property he found it on dates back to at least the mid 1800's.

It's an early 19th century gold plated button. The manufacture style was very popular back then. It looks really nice with that much plating still left on it.
