I decided to go detecting before work today. I had permission to search a property that has a bar on it. Spent 1 Hour in the parking lot searching the "ZONE" (the area about where a car door opens, about 4-6 feet from the parking marker). The lot is dirt and a little stone. In 45 minutes I found about 45 cents, none old, AND!

This GOLD (10K 0r 18K) Diamond? RING. What a way to start the day, and a work day at that. I have been stoked all morning.

Aleman, I believe you are right. It is 14 K. The other marks are GL or CL. I don,t recognize either. I has 20 small stones, 4 a little larger, and 4 a little larger still. I guess I will have to have it appraised. Wish for the best,

Ed D.

UPDATE!

Had a jewelry store look at it. The 28 diamonds , approximately 1 and 1/2 carats are REAL! Whoohoo! The setting is solid 14K. Did not get an appraisal, the guy who could do that was not in today. Any guesses on the number $1000? $2000? Anyone who may know please post you estimate.
