Gold find today.........I think

Posted these once today but for some reason my post went away. Anyway, I doug this cuff link today about 6" down. Had a VDI range of 0 to +8. Has initials on it BT and a small diamond in the center. I believe it's early 1900's or earlier . Found a few clads, a bullet and pendant (which may be gold) and a bunch of square nails.

There is a nearly identical cuff link pictured in the 1902 Sears catalogue. A pair sold for $6.00. That is a really cool find...Congratulations!

pre 1910 US gold wasn't usually marked,
Metal test kit is a must for the detectorist, find one on epay for under $15,

you can check your silver, plat & 5 karat types.
