Anybody know of a creek with color in it in south-west Iowa? I've heard reports of color in muddy creek Nebraska, and Purdue Nebraska, but when I google earthed area it's all plains and prairie. Plus it's on the south side of the Missouri River. I'm thinking that glacial gold would be better on other side of the Missouri River in Iowa. Could be wrong though. Any info would be appreciated. If not it looks like I'll be headed to Purdue.

May be too little too late, but this is the best info I can find on Iowa online.

Prospecting and Panning for Gold in Iowa

Given your local, the ebook may be worth $7 for you. I thought about it, but since I'm back in Colorado now... LOL
