Went hunting yesterday and the water here in Florida is cold. It seems to get colder every time I go now. I pulled out two junk rings early in the morning at one beach. The first beach was sanded in really bad so I moved hitting a beach that most always has a consistent bottom. Hardly anyone is swimming now because of the water temperature.

I got a good hit right after I hit the water and pulled the 10k wedding band with the diamonds. The filigree ring is 10k and the signet ring is gold but I can’t read the stamp. The other ring which was a heart stopper in the scoop was fake. I thought it was all diamonds when it was in my scoop lol. All in all it was a good day with six rings. Stay safe HH

Just got to Florida myself (Dec 20th) and right now only tourist from Canada are in the water or Crazies like MDers from up north like me (and you and Casper-2). Yesterday wind was 20 mph at 46 deg air temp w 2-3 ft breakers but water was OK at 67 deg. Not complaining but everything is relative and Ohio is getting smacked with snow and temps in the teens...and I'm here in sunny Florida looking for gold with my CTX 3030, NOX 800 and Excalibur - Snow diggers eat your heart out!
