G'day from San Francisco!

I was poking about Google books for a project and came across some interesting old books that I thought might be of use to Aussies and Kiwis looking for gold and/or old areas to search with the metal detector.

Google has archived many old books whose copyrights have expired. These books are availible as free legal (tho sometimes large) .pdf downloads or can be viewed page by page online.

Using google books, in just a week, I have found more possible sites than I could detect in a lifetime just here in California.

Enjoy!
