I hit my usual spot and found another Barber dime (well worn) but my oldest so far - 1897. I then took a break the next day and went to my favorite park to see if I could find some more relics. I sure did: Old Gibson lighter, Advertising watch fob, small lead horseman figure, Victorian sash buckle (I think?), decorative door lock piece, couple of keys marked "Sargent and Greenleaf", pocket watch chain, brass handle, Lipstick cases - and some parts to an old pair of binoculars with an inscription that says: "Maggie Sept 13 87" (1887?) - and other assorted interesting items.. It was a good couple days. Can't wait for the weekend so I can get back out thee and do some more digging.
-I'm not sure what the K the gold is but it does have some weight to it.
