Gold ore or not gold ore that is the lode question

So I have access to these types of specimens for a decent price, however the finder and myself have not yet determined if this is indeed Au or not. LISTENING TO ALL INFO!! Thanks in advance ladies and gents

Not gold.

Normally hard to tell from a picture but those are nice pictures!

More than likely it's Chalcopyrite. Rub it on unglazed white porclean like the underside of your toilet lid. It will leave a greenish black streak. If it streaks any color but gold - it's not gold. If it streaks black, brass, yellow, red or any other color it's not gold. If you have any doubt about the streak color just rub a known high karat gold piece next to the streak - if the streak is different - not gold.

Thank you very much for that info sir... I had an assumption it may indeed be gold because I was "only" ruling out the right angles similar to pyrite. Thanks!
