Gold Plated Fob Seal

I got out to a once in a blue moon site where I have found coins from the 1700's before. No such luck today, but I did find this little guy.

Any idea how old it is?

Thanks way better now , looks like agate, google victorian wax seal ( images) I found 1 a few years ago but it's all brass with the masons symbol and the guys name! Awesome find!

Wonderful find. I think garnet is a very dark red color stone. But I could be wrong.
