Gold ring at soccer field!

Yesterday I started my day wanting old or gold (like everyday) spent about an hour looking at everyone else's gold finds and decided today is going to be gold for me!

I went out with my atpro with the 5x8 to a local park and started at an area with an old well in the woods that I had found some relics and a couple wheaties digging everything that wasn't iron. Got one 1938 D wheat, a button, and what looks like a top of a salt shaker. Spent about 4 hours digging in iron infested ground and decided I was done with that spot for now and headed to another area in the park that is a big new soccer/football field and focused on mid tones.

About an hour into the new spot I got a shallow pulltab signal 61-62 and popped out a 14 k band! Inside is engraved "Soni love Hea". I don't have a scale so don't know the weight yet but I would guess maybe 5-6 grams.

I went on Facebook seeing if I could find the owner by the unusual names but no luck. I will be trying to return it since it is a nice custom wedding band.

Thanks for looking!

Yeah it's an old well in the woods where I started my day out, pretty cool the way the tree grew into it! Don't really know the history on it...

Congrats on a great hunt and finding gold. Your names may be shortened due to limited space or "cost per letter" engraving. If I had to guess, the names may be Sonia love(s) Heath. Based on where you found it, you may check social media again to see if you can find the owner. It would be a great thing to return that beauty to the owner and you would surely be nominated for an "honorable mention" on Treasurenet! Happy hunting, Sub 8-)
