Coin is about size of a Lincoln cent, appears to be made of pewter, has 5 on one side and tall eagle looking thing on other, words around edges on both sides but can't make them out, any ideas? And silver butter knife, has makers mark but can't make it out, and 925/1000 116.

germany_5_pfennig_1942.jpg Does it look like this? The eagle on the back looks like this to me. If so it is a Zinc German coin called a Reichspfennig made from 1940-1945

The coin's number style looks relatively modern so I would think it's not very old. The knife is Sterling and 20th Century. I know this only because my mother has the same knifes in a set, ca. 1940's or 1950's.

Edit: yep, good ID on the coin!

A few nice scores there mate. I thought the Germans knew better than to mint their coins out of ZINC! The silver butter knife would be a bucket list item for most folks I reckon. Great recoveries.
