Can't figure this one out. Looks like the lettering states G. P 1 D or possibly G. F I D. It was found in Terre Haute, Indiana, which is about 110 miles northeast of the very small town of Golden Gate, Illinois. I looked in the 1909 Dun for Golden Gate, but didn't see anything that seemed to match. Nothing for Golden Gate in Vacketta's book. Possibly it dates before 1909. Any ideas? Token has all incuse lettering bronze, 24mm. Rev. is blank.

I also found another one in Ellettsville, Indiana. CHAS. CAIN (incuse) / 5¢ / IN TRADE // SCHMIDT ETC (st. louis) B R 23. This is listed on Richard's database as Unknown, but I found a Chas. L. Cain shoemaker in Indianapolis in the 1920 Dun. I guess this is at least a possibility. Haven't checked other towns yet.
