Golden Indian Chief

I got out for a couple of hours this morning at a local elementary school. I found a 1928 Buffalo Nickel and this gold Indian chief pendant. It is marked 417 ASK. I know the 417=10k but I can't find anything on who ASK is. This is my first At Pro gold find. It rang up as a 54 which is solid pull tab for me. Sure glad I dug it. Thanks for looking.

since the remaining stones are different colors and not uniform in a color pattern (each end one is different) this could be a birthstone piece to be worn much like a mother's ring.
