Congratulations on the set of cobs! :notworthy:

Location location location! Great finds. Three in a day is incredible. Congrats and I'm glad Don could get an ID for you.

So much potential down south of the border. When I go home to the Chicago area, I'm thrilled when I find a coin from the 1940s. Metal detecting is just taking off down here and I urge those of you with an adventurous streak, to come visit down here. :occasion14:

Ok, I think I have positively identified the cob with the clearly visible cross on it. I've been doing some more online research and it has led me to suspect that it is a Philip IV 1/2 real cob from Bogota, circa 1621- 1665. Looks very similar to this one: https://www.numisbids.com/n.php?p=lot&sid=706&lot=1083

What do you think?

Incredible! Congrats! --Lisa & John
