Friend of mine has a feedlot for cows that he is cleaning up, it also has a nice little camp on it that he has let me dig some. When I first pulled up there today I got out, turned around and was amazed to see a nice little bead in a badger digging not 3 feet from my rig, about ran over it. That started things off well. Got out my screen and shovels and went over to my spot and started digging. Right off I found the cool little bi-point piece. It is about 1" and unusual in that I never see them so small like that. Dug a little more and the little knife popped out,it is about 5". Soon after the chipping tool came out.It has started to degrade a little but is stable. Found the rest after digging a while along with several nearly whole arrow points. Seems like I find quite a few there that are damaged in some way, ears or the stems gone. Had a decent few hours, filled my hole and went home. Felt good to scratch the itch a little.

Some nice finds ... That tool is unique great find .... About how deep did you have to dig to find stuff? I have a spot I'm gonna try digging just trying to get a feel for how deep I should dig without results before trying a different spot

The deepest spot so far has only been about 2 ft.Pretty shallow. The chipping tool came out about a foot deep.

Great finds, esp like that lil bi-point, never seen one quite like that.

Gomer has a recipe for a solution to permanently stabilize bone for that pressure flaker you found if interested.

Very good stuff ,i dont believe i ever saw a bi point that small. wonder if that would be considered a willow leaf?

Thanks Buckleberry. Am aware of Gomer's solution but this piece is dry and seems stable.

We can call most larger pieces that look like that willowleaves. Usually they are Cascade type points. Knives can be bi-pointed like that but this one is very small. Don't know but I like it a lot.

Wow once again you find some awesome pieces. That tool is great! The small bi-point is the little bro to the one you found in the badger dirt... very nice!

Thanks for showing them off !
