Good day on the beach - First gold!

Took my dad to the beach today to do some detecting. Ended up finding almost $10 in clad and a 14kt while gold engagement band. We both had a great time; now my back hurts and I've got a paper to do still

Does your dad now have the bug to detect after you showed him what is there to be found?

It is real easy to catch the bug and science has not yet found a cure for it.
