Was a good day out, found what i believe is an Adena blade, my biggest drill and some smaller points and a heart breaker that i'm not sure what it is yet. Thanks for looking
Awesome!

I’ll be in your neck of the neck of the woods for a couple days starting tomorrow evening. I’ll buy beers (long point/tractor?). Would like to see your collection if showing.

I would if it was any other weekend. It's Easter weekend and i'll be visiting with family. Maybe some other time.

Awe, that would have been a sweet point, still nice find.
Yeah I was still stoked to find it for sure. Have you ever found any chert axe heads or know anyone that has I've been trying to gather information on them because I've got a good amount of them. Not look alikes or flat out fake like most stuff I see online they are legit

I have found a axe/hoe made out of Argillite but not flint. I'd love to see some pics of the ones you have

This is one of my best examples im not 100% sure on material honestly. but it's shape balance and weight lead me to tomahawk head because I have examples of hoes and other axe heads similar to this one but this one is the outlier in quality and design I do have one in the lot that is without a doubt made from flint pic coming soon as I pull it out

Here is my definitely flint axe head along with a few more examples from in the house I've got the bulk of the collection put up outside. The shelf picture has a few more axe heads and probably some hoes as well as a couple random things lol

Great Collection you have, I'd like to find some bigger tools like that, hard to find here.

Yeah this location was without a doubt somewhere a lot of work was being done. I highly doubt you've ever heard of the arrest in Arkansas of a guy with 2800 artifacts years ago names Tudor there's lots of articles about it but he's an old timer now and also my neighbor so I've got some good intel haha

The ax heads are probably Hoes. Now Mississippian period did have a one sided bit ax from what I remember. But could have been used for either I suppose. Maybe get a close up of the bits
