Pretty big for the type isn’t it? I would of guessed Dalton if I had found it by the ears. But maybe someone else will know more. Good find

That's a nice find. Can you get a measurement on the basal width? Also, a look at both sides wouldn't hurt. Does look like Brewerton.

There are 4 types of Brewerton points. This one is a Brewerton Eared Triangle. The ears are created in two ways: a tiny side notch very low on the base, or by continuous retouch of the blade edges. Some Brewerton Eared Triangles show both types of ears on the same point, and many have only a single ear. I find more with just one ear than I do with two ears.

Thats what I thought till i learned about these RI Points. It was found near many other Brewertons. They can be upwards of 6 to 7 inches in New England.
Much bigger than what they find around here. Are they ground in RI ?
