I went to a park tonight with my neighbor and his XLT. He's hunted it 2 or 3 times this year, and we were there earlier last week and saw some dead plugs so there are other people detecting it. Either way, we did fairly well.

Tonight, he hunted around the playgrounds, basketball courts, etc, and I focused mainly on the hills. There's a sled riding hill there that we did pretty well on before but it was quiet there tonight so I went elsewhere. I don't know why, but the small hills really produced. Whether it's because nobody else has hunted them recently or people are just careless and unbalanced (???) on a slope, but I was happy. After about 2 hours, I came back with 21Q, 9D, 6P. Actually, I turned my pennies and nickels off after awhile because I kept getting soooooo many signals, but I knew there were quarters around so I didn't want to waste my time on the pennies.

I wouldn't discriminate the nickles, you could be passing on some gold! Nice days finds, quite a bit of quarters!!!
