Found this bronze lock on the bank of a creek
that is near a business that operated continuously for
over 150 years. I know that doesn't date the lock but
would like to see if anyone has seen one like this
one before and maybe how old it is.
The business started in about 1850.

That has to be the neatest lock I think I've ever seen. Did you find that with your 1266?

Thanks for the reference site TIREDIRON,
I really didn't think this lock was of that
vintage.

RUSTED_IRON, yes I was using a 1266x
when I found the lock, The 1266x is still
a great machine.
