I had a little extra time off of work this week as I discovered that I had a hernia and went straight to the doctor. I don't know how or when I got it and I wasn't about to mess around and put off having it fixed. I had surgery wednesday so I went out tuesday thinking it would be my last day for a while. I went to a park in a small town near here where I used to spend my summers on my uncles farm. I ended up getting 6 silver and 4 Indians. The silvers were the very worn 1895 O Barber quarter, the '95 and '06 Barber dimes, the '45 and'17 Mercs and the '50 D Rosey for the trifecta. The I.H.s were the 2 1902s, an 1893 and the 1903 plus 6 wheats. On friday after Thanksgiving I was still a little sore but felt pretty good so I headed back to the same park for a short hunt and ended up getting 3 more silver and 4 wheats before I decided I had better stop. The silver were the '98 Barber dime and the '17 S and '20 S Mercs plus 2 wheats. I got out for a little bit yesterday and today and scored 4 more silver, the '05 Barber quarter, the '43 Washington, the '07 D Barber dime and a '45 D Merc plus a no date Buffalo and 3 wheats.
