The picture below is the last find with my compadre I thought it was a kids purse but it was a women's purse filled with ID and credit cards I turned over to authorities so it could be returned someone was losing sleep I bet. I am selling the Compadre and have purchased a Sand Shark as well as a Stealth scoop 720i based upon Sandman's comments about both items. Look for some good finds coming soon!

Here the results from dry sand then a water hunt I was surprised how quickly I was comfortable using a PI detector. I was surprised that aluminum foil was not a target. Overall I am impressed with this machine and I expect to find better targets in the future along with an incredible amount of bobby pins.

First trip to the beach and sand shark finds gold. Many thanks to rusty at tesoro and Sandman's excellent equipment advice and all the regular posters on the forum following your advice paid off! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1419306557.142240.jpg

mission, most of your bobby pin type finds will usually give you a double tone when passing the coil of the SS over them. With time, you will notice there is a difference in tone on certain finds. Nice gold ring find on 12/22, quick $ find for the short time you've owned the SS. While I have not found a Gold, Silver or Platinum honker yet with my Shark, I have found lots of clad and some very interesting conversation pieces. GL and HH with the Shark...
