I found these goosenecks along two log different logslides. I left them in a pile for someone else to find in the future since I already had several different sizes at home.
Just a few other tools that I found at two different camps. Two ax heads, a grab hook, and a bark spud.
This is the size of quite a few lumber camps that I come across. It is only about 12 x 14 foot. just a temporary camp for a few lumbermen, and when an area was cut they would move on and build another. Although they aren't all dug into the hillside. Most were built on a level site with no excavating. I have no idea what the pile of rocks was for as they were on top of an old RR grade.
This is all that I found worthwhile to haul out at the above camp, which was 3 1/2 miles back in. Parts from a stove with rhe initials L&McD.
