Gorden's Waldorf Club Fourth Street Good for 5 Cents In Trade

Gorden’s Waldorf Club Fourth Street token. This is the 3rd one I've dug from an early 1900's dump site in San Diego. If anyone can find this one in their token databases, let me know. Thanks for looking. :thumbsup: Jim

It looks like you might have to spend a couple of hours at the San Diego Public Library looking through old city directories.

That is assuming that in San Diego what is now Fourth Avenue was once Fourth Street. It looks like the higher numbers are streets and the lower ones are avenues - that suggests there was a change at some time. My 1908 Postal Guide shows a Fourth Street, so that sorta confirms the theory. I'd start looking in 1950 and work backwards.
