Got a haircut yesterday!

I actually DID get a haircut yesterday. As I'm sitting in the barber's chair, I notice his 5 gallon glass water jug full of pennies is gone. He said some guy offered him $500 for it, so he sold them (guy is supposed to bring his glass jug back). I'm assuming the guy wanted to search them for wheats/coppers/errors. Anyone have any idea how many pennies it takes to fill a 5 gallon jug?

I have a plastic 5-gallon water bottle filled with my copper pennies. It is about 4 inches from being level with the opening with $252 worth of pennies so far. My guess is it won't hold maybe $15 to $20 more so he better hope he gets a lot of copper and some other interesting varieties in it.
