Went out for a couple hours yesterday to one of my old relic haunts. Dug a little bit of this and that. Got several cool relics and some silver. The little sterling buckle almost got tossed in my trash pouch I thought it was a piece of aluminum. I really like the old button I found while digging a hole. Looks like its made out of oyster shell, I wonder how old it is. The big washer has me confused also this thing is heavy and appears to be made out of brass or copper :icon_scratch:
Has anyone ever seen another buckle like the iron one.
Interesting hunt to say the least, a wide variety of finds to come from one place.

Interesting stuff. What's that thing in the middle of the pic ?

Hard to say, If I were guessing I would say it was something a woman would have used in her hair.

Nice finds John. Maybe you and Kirk can open an antique kitchen utensil store. No CW items this time? WTG and HH this weekend.

Thanks Quindy. Gotta love that fine flatware. LOL Maybe some CW relics to show this weekend.
